The Founder Compass helps founding teams reflect on eight perspectives that influence a start-up’s development. It is not a test, score, investment decision or company assessment.

How it works

Each compass point represents one topic. Answer five reflection questions per topic. The average of the answers determines the colour of that compass ray.

Privacy by design

The Founder Compass does not ask for or store your name, email address, company, telephone number or other contact details.

  • Your answers and result are stored under a randomly generated Compass ID.
  • A separate Security Code is shown only to you. The plugin stores only a one-way hash of that code.
  • The plugin does not store your IP address, browser details or tracking identifiers.
  • Anonymous results may be used in aggregated statistics to improve the Founder Compass.
  • No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made.
  • Anonymous records are automatically deleted after 36 months.

Technical server logs, security services, analytics or embedded third-party tools may process additional data independently of this plugin. The website privacy policy must accurately describe the website’s actual technical setup.
